The weather was perfect outside today so I decided to blow up Colin’s pool and let him splash around in the water. When we stopped for a snack, he finished his apple sauce and graham crackers in record time and pointed towards the back door asking to go back outside. All in all, we spent a good hour and half outside between the pool and the slide but had to call it quits when I realized how cold his hands and feet were. If it were up to him though, he could have been happy playing until he reached prune-dom.

This weekend we traveled to Fredricksburg in search of a strawberry patch. While we were unsuccessful at finding strawberries, we did enjoy strolling down Main Street and checking out the little shops selling antiques and hand made crafts. On Sunday, we had dinner with Uncle Kevin, Aunt Sarah, Cy, Helen and Lily and the kids splashed in the puddles and danced to some live music. On Monday, Colin and I visited the Austin Science and Nature Center to check out the animals, flora and to spend some time in the dino pit. As you will see in the pictures, the snakes were a big hit.
